About Me

I am Kabeer Kher, born in Portstewart, N Ireland.

Growing up in N Ireland I took a keen interest in Politics and Economics from a young age. In school I studied Politics & Economics at A Level.

I went on to University in Glasgow where I studied International Business, majoring in Economics. I studied International Relations, Commerce and Human Resource Management in Montpellier, France.

I went on to complete an MBA In Banking at the University of London.

I started my career in British Telecom where I was a project manager in BT Retail.

Later I started my own business and helped to run my family’s business.

Finally in 2015 I transitioned into Financial Services based in Norfolk with my wife and 2 children, mainly to be closer to my wife’s family.

I spend most of spare time reading and learning about the world around me, but I do like to enjoy the occasional football or rugby match with my family and friends.

Originally my family came to this country from India in 1952. My family are of Hindu background and my wife is a practising Christian. Our children attended a Church of England primary school and have been brought up with both Christian and Hindu traditions in mind. .

Why I am standing as a Candidate in Mid Norfolk

When Rishi Sunak banned UK Shale Gas in the middle of an energy crisis I decided enough was enough. I could no longer sit back and watch the economic decline of this country. The lack of strategic vision from the established Westminster parties has been truly shocking to me.

Since then in Mid-Norfolk we have seen a housing crisis for both renters and buyers. We have seen the effects of years of underinvestment in sewage and flood defences. We have seen the health service under severe pressure. Our infrastructure isn’t improving it’s getting worse!

When I came across Reform UK I found the only party in Britain today willing to put prosperity at the heart of its agenda. It is only through a strong economy that we can fund the public services we need, to enable us to look after the sick and vulnerable in our society.

If you share our values as a party, based around patriotism, freedom and democracy, then please put your trust in me and vote Reform UK in Mid Norfolk.
